RE: 1/3 FOKKER DVIII Scratch Build
WATCHOUT - if you are using Ron Weiss DVIII plans, I bent all my wing strutt 5/32" wire using his front view as a guide, what a mistake!!
He shows 15-1/2" from fuselage centerline to the mounting strap at the end of the strut, I intalled my wing strut mounting tee nuts in the wing as indicated on the wing plan at 13-1/4" from the wing center, the mistake is that the struts I bent are all 2-1/4" to long because the spread on the mounting strut is not 31" as shown on front view but rather 26-1/2" if you follow his wing plan, so the builder is on his own to work out the discreptancies on this issue.
