The higher cost of the Evo/MVVS is why I stated the price diff between it and the DLE would be a big player. There are factors that more than justify the price difference. The twin ignition curve is one of them, and the power difference when using any of the MVVS/Evo engines on a pipe is another. Then you have a big difference in top end designs, and MVVS is like having the sun inside a large cave where that is concerned. The MVVS line was designed around the use of a pipe for maximum performance, but even without one their performance levels are on the high side.

There definately is a lot of justification for the price differences, and many will not be able to make it balance. But those that do usually come up smiling after the trip to the sales counter is behind them.
