It really boils down to what it's worth to the individual...I'll admit that I have "paid too much" for something I really wanted for mostly sentimental reasons...

What bugs me is the way prices have gotten out of control through bidding wars... []

Then again I've been treated more than fair on a couple of my dream kits on a one-on-one basis with another classic pattern friend...To me that's the way it should be...It's all about helping one another out...

Most of the stuff I have purchased that has been "started" requires re-work or has been scrapped all together...I've lucked out on a couple but been bitten more than lucky...

Oh well...People think this stuff is gold or whatever...I'm sure it will change if I ever go to sell something...lol
