RE: New Ultra Stick 40 with a G-90/Header/Pipe
Today, I installed the motor, fuel tank, pipe mount, throttle servo and linkage and put brass tubing on the wing dowels. I then put the plane all together and stuck it on the CG machine. 3.75" back from the leading edge with no weight added! Spot on! I was amazed. The manual calls for 3.5" to 4.0" so it should be a good place to maiden it. I then put it on the scale and it weighs 5lbs 11oz. This thing is going to be a rocket! I've been very impressed with the quality of this kit. It should be a fun plane. I plan to take some video and I'll post it here. If the weather is decent enough, I'll fly it next weekend. Woohooo!
