I have had 5 Vertigo II kits. Skyglas quality typically ran from B- to D+ range. I don't mean to bust that seller's bucket, but that one is probably a crapshoot, quality wise. The firewall and engine mount is factory installed, but has been crooked in 3 out of 5 fuses. The foam is iffy, and can vary greatly from the plans. To be fair, this was made long before CNC cutters.

Is it worth it? Up to you. I paid good money for mine. If I wanted one of these fairly obscure airplanes to once again ply the skies, then that is what I had to do.
