Default RE: Futaba 8FGA Question?

ORIGINAL: RCAA

When I put the TX down on the bench and use one hand to touch the TX, it seems to work better for me. Is there any correlation here? Does possible static electricity have anything to do with this? Some days it will work fine and other days it gives me a problem. I'll give it some more time to make sure it's not something that I'm doing before I call service. Your help is much appreciated.
It shouldn't be one or two hands that affect the operation of the touch dial. I've held the transmitter in one hand while touching with the other...no problems. However, my hands weren't too wet nor too dry. That may affect the operation. Static charge buildup in your body could have some affect.

We usually find that a "one-two" touch sequence that has about 1/2-second or so between touches works best. Then a gentle touch to the center dial, or a gentle touch and movement around the outside does the job. No need to get aggressive.
