Default RE: Tower .46 engine - to try or not to try?

I had one and couldn't wait to get rid of it. I've seen others have mixed luck. Some are outstanding, others are not. I think it is basically a good engine but their might or may have been some quality control issues.

If you want to try it though, I say go for it. It might work great for you. If you aren't happy or there is a problem, Tower is very good about supporting their stuff so you likely won't be stuck with a bad engine. Unfortunately I bought mine NIB from an individual, not tower. Basically it could be considered used even though it never was ran. I couldn't return or exchange like I could of if I had bought it from Tower.
