I do know that the tip tank sockets now have aluminum tubes as part of the install. From your comment, it would seem to be a necessity. After a conversation with Bob, he informed me that the gear doors have also had an improvement. They come pre cut and the double layers are also factory bonded. I do understand your comment on sealing the plane, and for now, I am satisfied with using thin CA to wick into the wood. I feel confident in the joint between the formers and the glass fuse with method, and know that there is no paint in between the bond. Once the plane is built, I may still put some paint inside the assembled fuselage, but I will decide this later.
