Just a thought but how about a set of builder plans. Some of the guys in the UK may be of help here but Gordon Whitehead has some great plans for one of his designs of the P-38. I haven't seen them or built his 38 but I have built his Krier Kraft and it was outstanding!! He is also an old member of RCU and I have emailed him several times and he does answer and give you help and information. I did notice on Ebay there were several plans and templates offered, I wonder how good they are?? The prices were right!! May be worth the risk!
