Capn'
For the record, the last engine I sent to Ralph he milled the prop hub, replaced a crank, made a carb spacer, and charged me $20.00. The postage was $25.00. A friend just bought a new carb from Ralph that wholesales for $25.00. It cost him $30.00 wih a couple of timing magnets and hall sensors tossed into the box.
Ralph does not run a business. He does what he does because he enjoys it. If he happens to make 50 cents in the process you shouldn't hold it against him. I sure don't, and I wish he charged a heck of a lot more in order to offset some of the headaches he gets from people.
