Has anyone out there run a Gilbert .07? How are they for power? I have 4 of the .11’s and they are OK for small models with a 24” wing. GCB, I’ll bet you have run your fair share of the Gilbert engines. They remind me of the Fox .099 rocket with the piston port induction. What props should I use on the .07?
Yup! I run a 6x3 prop on the Gilbert .07. It has the power of a good .049. With the side porting it will start either direction like a reedie. Two of the engines below have spring starters so it will start the correct direction. The top one with no thrust washer or prop nut is an .11.

Sure keeps the needle away from the prop.
