The fighting chair is made of K & S brass. I good tip when working with this is to heat it to dull red, it then can be bent and formed easilyThe material work hardens

K&S brass tubes can be easily flattened in a vise. The flattened section can be drilled and attached with screws, I prefer tiny lag screws.
