The outside looks neat enough.


I did not want any main surgery in my already battle battered Clipped Piper , so I had to position the winch in the radio compartement, which is located above the muffler bay.
The only way I saw fit is to hang the winch upside down. A layout test fit was quickly made up, with the winch hanging from a spruce lath.
