Okay, I was able to run all functions without a receiver battery. I am seriously thinking of removing the metal tray the electronics sit on,as my receiver is pressed tight up against the hull top.
But, at least i have room to fiddle around.
Next up is painting the inside surfaces of the track bloks Flat Black,to simulate the rubber inner surface. Also, the end connectors and the center guides will get a basic coat of rust.
