I don't know how you would advance the timing if the inital timing is set at say 5 degrees BTC. this is just my idea, feel free to do it any way you want. set the inital timing to 30 degrees. have a delay so the engine wont kick at startup. Then as the rpm increase, decrease the delay thus advancing the timing. Some want the curve to be opposite. full advance at startup and retard the timing as the rpms increase. As far as using other pins use what you need to so it will work the way you want.
