I am going to add 3/4 dia hard wood stand offs to get the engine forward. Cut them to length. Buy longer bolts and use good sized washers on insde of fire-wall. To find center of cowl...take a flat peice of wood a little bigger that the footprint of the engine. Use a cardboard template to mark engine bolt holes in the flat piece of wood. Glue a 1/4 inch dowel on center. Place the cowel in place with the dowl on center of the hole for your prop shaft. Mark the holes using this device on the fire-wall. Now when you place engine on fire-wall it should be close to the right center alighnment. Now you can understand what I am try to say....not good at explaining on-line. Capt,n
