so i played around with the tamtechs a little more today.
first thing is i was wrong about the 3racing steering saver. it works well. not amazing just well. still has some steering slop and wiggle, but better. i made a mistake and didn't use the stock plastic sleeve in addition with the metal sleeve that comes from 3racing. one installs the metal sleeve around the plastic.
Now having done that. I know the tamtechs have a huge problem with their caster angles during steering. i was reading around on hyperminis last night and saw an idea to use a GT-01 piece in place of the GB-01. what it does is bring the gold pieces. have no idea what the name for them is. closer together.
These are the parts im talking about.
Starting from top is the GB-01 3racing, then stock GB-01 and stock GT-01 i have a 3racing GT-01 as well. it puts the ball connectors in the space where the larger holes are. so bringing them even closer together. i did this and i think it made a difference. but im not sure.
this is the 3racing GT-01
and finally got a couple of questions.
can i get this gold thing. in the same diameter as the black screw. the gold thing is 3.5mm and the black screw is 3. it had to fit into the bearing.
and anybody has a brushless motor in their tamtech with the stock radio?
