They were pretty popular when they came out. I was living in Gainesville (Ga) at the time and went to a contest in Augusta and there were a couple there. That's where my midair happened. I had a Conquest with a Hanno on it also and so I went to it when the Desire died and never built another one. The Hanno I had on the Conquest was the best motor I ever owned. It had the red pipe too. I never had to do anything to it. I put it on the plane set the pipe like the directions said and never touched them again.
