Regarding fuel tanks, if using a LENOR or COKE bottle would it be beneficial to fibreglass the bottle for extra durability or a waste of time?
It's a waste of time. 2 liters will give you about 7 minutes flight time.

I'm using a 2.4 litre juice bottle plus a 300ml header tank and this gives around 12-14 minutes on my PST600. It moulds to the fuselarge really well and sits right over the C of G. Plus it comes with a handle for easy removal! Pic 3 shows where the c of g is in relation to tank position (black line on tank). It is almost at the mid point of tank, which is ideal because the trim does not change much as fuel is burnt off. I have tried many different types of PET bottles and this one is by far the best. I rarely fill it completely, as I find a 8-10 minute flight on a jet is plenty for me for one flight.
Hey Admin, the new Beta Multi-file upload bar works great!
