Use only the bearings supplied by Team Associated or another high quality bearing. Cheaper bearings can't survive the heat generated by the clutch and fail right away. Make sure your clutch shoes aren't slipping or dragging too much at idle. Both will cook the clutch bearings. A badly slipping clutch can even cook the GT bearings causing them to seize and spin the "E" clip off. Replace the clutch nut each time this happens. Gt is apparently working on a replacement clutch assembly based on the Nitro TC3's clutch. I use a clutch assy. from a Traxxas Nitro Rustler or T Maxx and it works great on my Factory Team.
