I'm considering a battery that is 1480 mah, 11.1 volt, 15C/22.2amp. Does that mean that if I try to run a 900 watt motor on it the battery will go up in flames?
If you try to run that 900W motor at any more than about 220W (20A)... yes, you will ruin the battery... but if you keep the amp draw within the pack's limits you can run anything you like on it.
