Default RE: First Plane

id go with the gws slowstick, i fly mine in a small baseball field rather easily but you may need more room when starting off, a large baseball field with few obstrustions would be perfect. i tought myself how to fly on a slowstick, its doable, but its cheaper to go the club instructor route
what to buy?

heres a motor that would work

i would use a 11x5apc prop to start with, you are going to have a TON of power so keep that throttle very low, the idea behind this motor is you have a huge prop that will pull you out of anything no matter how slow you are going, also the big prop provides a large amount of thrust instead of speed which will help keep the plane airborne when you are flying very very slow (a good thing when learning, more time to react and less damage if you crash)
also buy 3 motor shafts because you will bend them, if you dont congrats, but its worth the 5 bucks to have a replacement ready http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6487

if you are interested i will list everything you need to get, just let me know, i dont want to waste 30 min if you arnt interested..
