AM, thanks for the honest heads-up. I really don't mind waiting, as long as y'all don't get into the Microsoft vaporware style of product release announcement.
One thing I've always liked about my SuperTigres is the level of detail. Take, for instance, the machining on the underside of the engine mounting tabs. Most makers don't bother with this extra step; they just leave the casting the way it is and call it good. I also like the way ST machine the prop hub to recess the front of the crankcase inside of it. Helps keep the crud off the front bearing. Yet another detail often overlooked by other makes.
ST also endeared me for still offering ringed piston engine along side otherwise identical ABC counterparts. Other makes have long since quit giving modelers this option.
I genuinely hope that in making the new ones better, ST doesn't forego these details that made ST one of my all time favorites 2strokes.
