I personally think ther private messages are a pain.
I prefer to use email and wish I could turn off the PMs like you can the email if you like

The main thing I don't like about the PMs is, you can't go and see what was in the message you sent, you can see what comes in but you can't see what has gone out

That's why I prefer email
