I sure hope you can get that ******* in court... all you have to do is win and he will be liable for the court costs and the equipment in question. People like that need good people to step up and put them in their place, otherwise they will do it again. It's a shame the sheriff could not be of more assistance, but at least if it goes to court, the creep has a history with the law and the judge will see that he is a piece of shi*.

Its always funny to me to read things like this from people who think it would be easy to sue somone.
If it were that easy to get these guys, they wouldn't be out there. It doesn't matter how hard you try, you aren't going to get them to court due to the cost out of your pocket. You are better off to chock it up to tuition and say you learned something. It sux, but that is the way life is. I have seen the legal side of things. The only ones that win are the lawyers and the people on both sides get dragged through the dirt and thrown away trashed.
