It is peculiar that this can have happened to both ESCs and what can prevent it happening again.

Doesn't the ESC memory reset when the power supply and radio signal is totally disconnected for a few minutes.

Thanks for the tips so far. My first time with ESCs and I have ended up with a curly one.
