Anyone ever whack off the cheecks of a Hobbico Avistar and try to make a rudimentary cowl?

I really wouldn't care if the a large portion of the engine potruded out of the top. I just like the look of at least a semi-cowled engine - like the bottom 1/2 say.

Anyway if you've done it got a model/brand of a cowl that might be a close fit?
