I would think that is too aerobatic for a second plane, but I guess it depends on the pilot.
I agree. That tapered wing has unforgiving stall characteristics. I would think something like a SIG "4star" or "Something Extra" (straight wings) would be more suitable as a second model even if the pilot is an exceptional student.
