I bought this used Bearcat as my first warbird, 62" ws with an aluminum cowl - I think ait's an old Roayl kit. I'm not sure if it's ever been flow and have two questions.

Where is the CG?
There is only about 5/8" down on the eleveator before it hits the pushrod for the rudder - is 5/8" enough - -see pics
