I would fly it. If you think about it you hardly use full throws unless you are doing aerobatics. If you have a computer radio I would dial in 1" on the up end and whatever you can get on down.

After your first flight you can decide if you want to leave it as is or do a teardown in the back and move things around to get more travel.
