if you cannot find that slow helicopter, you could navigate to the Sim multiplier and change the rate, from what it is set at, to a lower number and try again. This way you can always change it back when you want the Sim to run at "normal" speeds.

If you cannot locate the Sim multiplier maybe someone who is in front of their sim can tell you where it is. If not I'll look later when I am in front of that computer.
