As a LHS owner I see this happen alot. It really hurts me to see a new person try to get in the hobby and buy something on the net without help. The plugs on the servos may be the old three pin type. Not knowing what he paid for the plane, by the time he replaces what needs to be, he may be close if not over new price. He may even need engine work done. Find a local club and ask for help.
