Granted, but when you crash a plane on the simulator you just mash the reset button instead of the "Buy" button on a new plane. It would save you a lot of money in the long run if you have a tendency to crash. If you could live with a Spektrum 5 Channel (no real reason why you couldn't with a 4 channel trainer) the Phoenix simulator sold by Horizon comes with a 5 Channel Spektrum that is actually a full range radio you can use to fly your planes.
