Tom, you sold me a used prop hub for my new-to-me TOC 53, I just got it in the mail Monday. Over the weekend after we spoke I went out and found some actual 5MM X 0.8 X 50MM bolts, and using these instead of the 10/32's that it came with from the previous owner, the bolts hold as tight as I can crank on them with a allen head screwdriver.

However, one of the bolt holes is still visibly worn and the hub you sent me is in much better shape.

What is the best method for removing the prop hub retaining bolt and hub? Is it a standard or reverse thread? What method would you suggest to hold the engine from turning over while I'm trying to loosen the bolt? I have a bolt with the same thread as the spark plug hole I could use to stop the piston, and though I've used that method on smaller engines I'm not sure if it's safe for a 53cc, I'm guessing much more force will be necessary and I'm afraid it will damage the piston or plug threads. And finally, is the hub pressed on to the crank or should it come off realtively easily once the retaining bolt is removed?
