Yeah, I think you have to be real selective on the particular 1/35 scale model that your going to convert. But I just won a M48A3 Patton (Tamiya) on ebay a couple days ago, and just got it in today. I will say the plastic is much more durable than on my HL Tiger. This model is completely articulated and only needs to be drilled through in some areas and springs/torsion bars added for suspension. Again, the size isn't for everyone, this Scale Patton is only 7.5 x 5" half the scale of the big 1/16. But becoming an RC tank fanatic....I have no prejudice to any sizes. lol

I'm pretty nifty with scratch building, so it wouldn't be that great an issue for me to build a styrene tank from the ground up. But, I'm slowwwwww.
