Nice find wade!

I think making a sturdy 1/35 scale is going to be far easier to do than machine or press brake sheet metal to reinforce a 1/16 scale tank. And metal tracks! lol , nice.

Obviously there isn't vast interest in tanks less than 1/16 scale, but it's still a fun project to consider nonetheless. I'm going to attempt it with this newly acquired 1/35 Patton model.

I experimented with the rx18 board...and what do ya know, it works and controls 3v motors at a 3.7 v supply. And even fits in the patton hull! lol, now to get the project Tamiya gear boxes on Tower hobby with additional motors/gears for the turret. Just need to create a turret ring and maybe an elevation unit using cellphone vibrating motors.
