Looking good and best of luck with the upcoming maiden. I've a PT-19 in my hanger (Hanger 9 1.20 size) and it is one of the finest flying models I've owned or flown. Both take offs and landings are graceful and very predictable. It tracks great in loops, axial rolls don't produce a lot of walloring (if that is a word). Knife edges well and is the only plane I've owned that will do the lumcevak predictably with more often than not three reverse tumbles and sometimes four.
The plane does offer a fairly stark contrast between no wind and headwind landings. With no wind, flapperons are needed to get the plane to slow down for a reasonable landing glide slope but with a headwind, no flapperons are needed and in fact a fair amount of power is needed to maintain the slope.
Hope you like yours as much as I do mine.
Awesome!! Will definately set it up for flaperons. I have read nothing but good things about the flight Chracteristics of this plane. Temps are supposed to be in the high 70's this weekend with sun!!! Something we haven't seen in these parts since last october!! I will be ready!! Can't wait. I doubt my opto kill swtich will be here by saturday, but we'll see. Might fly it without it for the first flight. Will see how she repsonds to throttle trim kill, before I take it up
