I see you doing some homework here... Must mean you're deep in thought in getting a 500 size. Me too, but it's gonna be next summer before I do that. I've got a Bell 206 Scale heli I'm gonna be working on for the 450 size. It'll be my first scaler and I'm looking forward to the build.
One thing to keep in mind on a 500 size heli, is that your cyclic servos are a bit more expensive and so will the batteries. For the 500L motor, you should be running at least a 5S 3,000 mAh battery, and for best performance a 6S battery. If you don't have a charger that is capable of charging a 5S or 6S battery, add that to you list also.
Don't forget the Trex 700E will be out in a month or so. LOL!
