I built one a couple years back, and have yet gotten the nerve to fly it. It is a heavy plane for the size. The plans and instructions say up to a 1.20 four stroke, but for the life of me, I couldnt' find a way to fit my O.S. 1.20 Surpass II on a set of motor mounts that I could bolt to the filewall. I settled for a Magnum 91 four stroke. I was just working on my check list to get it in the air this summer.
I've waited too long.
How heavy is it? If it's less than 8 pounds, it will fly very nicely on a two-stroke .61-size engine. If it's heavier than that, it's 'way overweight.
