Default RE: 35% Sukhoi Question

The plane does not wing rock unless you're holding some aileron while in a harrier. For baseline flying the "book" deflections at low rates are pretty close to perfect. If I recall correctly they are 12* for elevator, 15* for ailerons, and 20* for rudder. For high rate/3d flying don't use more than 40* of rudder. After that it becomes a very large airbrake. The rudder is extremely effective.

I used 17* for aileron low rates, and found 32* at high rates to be real nice for 3d. I used 20* for elevator low rates because I prefer a little more reaction at low rate elevator than IMAC people do. Elevator high rates were de-tuned from 50* down to 45* because it did not need more than 45*. I balanced at the center of the wing tube for what I felt was an optimum all around C/G. More forward and the plane lands at a higher speed, eating up a lot of runway while slowing down enough to make the landing.

The plane excels in both IMAC and 3d. You only need to pick what you want to do. It's a very strong plane but the main gear does not take well to rough field landings, especially botched ones. If you have the spreader bar that W/H developed for the main gear, use it. It provides a lot of resistance to gear legs spreading during a hard landing.
