I hear you on the appeal of electrics... I love my miniShowtime, and being able to connect power, go fly, disconnect, and put the thing back in the car is really nice. No tuning, no running lean, and no exhaust residue. Lots of the glow flyers at our field have commented on how smooth it is, all due to electric power.
I'm about two clicks away from ordering one of the OV-1 Mohawk kits from Keith Sparks... since it's a turbo prop, those counterrotating props would sound pretty good on it.
