I balanced mine as per the manual, at the wing tips. After I balanced, I put the wings on the wing tube (not on the fuse) and stretching a string from the wing tip balance points, I saw that the string is just behind the wing tube at the root. Usually, the recommended balance point is a "beginning" point and adjusted to suit after test flying. I have needed no changes to that setting. I like the way my plane flys.
