louierc,

37A can work on stock motor...but don't go for more.

ARC motors bend shafts too easily ARC 2 turn would fit the bill for what you asked such as 4S 45+A....28-47-2 (28-48-2 same thing) 2170 KV.
Replace bent shaft motor at 50%....after 1 bend shaft replacement plus shipping costs and you're looking at not far from 5mm MEGA.....after 2 bent shafts you would have spent more $$.

Unless you have some other need for stock motor....go ahead an use it for now.

Look, people pop the end caps off, drill holes in them and put them back on with locktite (not sure which one...but Mopar can tell you).

I can post some of the pics of end caps....

35A-37A is more than stock and so is 1/3 more Volts....it would be fun.

For same price as ARC, you can get HET its performance is not far from MEGA ....little more quality than ARC but still a bit far from MEGA and it does not offer 5mm shaft....that would be extra $4 well spend compared t $60 ARC. I don’t know about repair or replacement policy if any.......finally you will only get (2) bolts to line up even if using Gary's mounts.....WEIRD bolt pattern...like a peace sign....imagine if you overlap "Y" and "I", that would get you 3 screws on one side and 1 on other..... Hey (2) screws works fine, so no problem there.

*** As a temp solution you can always get a VERY cheap junk motor from China but have it be of 480 size like MEGA or HET but keep max power at 40-45A.

NEU motors has started making Medusa motors...you still run risk of bending a shaft.......Medusa motors perform really well.

Build time for MEGA, NEU and Medusa are about same....actually MEGA takes a week or two less time than NEU (shipping time is accounted for).

16/25/3C 5mm might be in stock in this one place at $114 if sold out or if he wants more you can have another guy order it for $110. Let me know if you want me to look into it.

Which way(motor manufacturer or price) are you leaning before we get into details?
Mod the stock motor?
