ORIGINAL: I guess what I am asking is more about some examples of how others here run the MEGA 16/25/2 !!
Hi Joe. I have been flying Strykers with a 16/25/2 and a Castle Creations Phoenix 80 for the last 2 1/2 years. 1000 flights, two motors and countless props. Always on a three cell Lipo.

The 16/25/2 with an APC 7x5E and a 3 cell is a solid combination. Speed is good but not much over 100mph. Thrust is very good. You can climb it until you can't see it anymore. Efficiency is pretty good. That means longer flight time and less heat. This motor/prop combo will also work with a range of battery sizes. From 30C 2000mAh to 5000.

Your ICE 100 esc can easily handle that motor/prop.
