I was taught to use the BVM pinhole filler on the canopy and prime and paint the borders of the canopy then clear the entire thing go get the carbon weave to really shine. I did this method on the V2 canopy above and also on my VF3 canopy. The carbon canopy cleared really looks nice. But all paint or clear use the BVM pinhole filler. Now I'm sure there are other methods just as successful, but that's the one I know. As far as clear goes I would recommend the PPG 2042 speed clear, DCX61 hardener and DT870 reducer.
