no the depth decreases as you go from the bottom of the rudder to the top. Draw a line on masking tape from the centre of the radius on top and bottom and this is the hinge line/ pivot point. I think I drew a diagram and posted it on the "another skymaster viperjet" thread, but I'll have a look on my pc at work and see if I still have it
