I think you will find that all of the new generation JJ engines run very good without having to tinker with them like the problems they used to have. I just picked one up of the new generations and they have made some drastic changes. I will be using a ProJet Hornet ECU with the optical pickup. There is a YouTube video of a guy that has one on a JJ1400 and it spools quick. If you do buy one get it from Mark Harper www.jetjoecentral.com as he will go thru the entire engine and prerun and preset it up for you so you will have no problems with it and it will be the same price as the main site in china.
