I guess I dont understand it all that well because I thought it was the catalytic action of the alcohol and the glow coil that helped maintain plug heat and combustion, and alcohol has only about half of the thermal efficiency of gasoline which is why glow engines normally use so much more fuel than a gasser. Oh well
