RE: Old Royal engine
I got it out to the field on Saturday. I tuned the low end needle in a little more, and richened the high end 1-2 clicks. With the help of a great guy names Lee, I got the plane checked out for it's maiden flight and he took it off, trimmed it and handle me the Tx. i flew some patterns over the field to get the feel of th eplane and how it responds, then he landed, we refueled, and i took off, flew some slow big loops, and patterns, gradually lower fly-by, touch-n-go's and finally landed. So 2 flight before i had to pack up and head home. No dead stick landings :-) I didn't bring my video camera, and my phone didn't reliably want to take pictures, so i'll take a few the next time...I'll make sure to video the engine running in the pits, so you guys can watch and make any suggestions.
