RE: 2M Remedy
Is this plane built up construction? If it is, you can cut the covering from the stab and put some lightening holes in the ribs. I am having some tail heavy issues myself with my scratch build. The built up rudder started out fully sheeted, but now it has been lightened. I am also using a 1" park flier tail wheel from E-Flite - 0.6g. I bought two packs of 2 because I expect them to not last too long.
Rule of thumb; Since the tail is at least twice as far from the CG as the nose, every gram you can take off the tail is at least two grams you don't have to add to the nose. Maybe you should bring it to Hemet next month.
I went to Hobby People and looked at the manual. It looks like there may be some weight that can be saved on that tail. Just be careful not to weaken it.
